I really want to get back to the gym but I'm feeling really self conscious about my body after indulging so much over the Christmas Holidays. Help!

This is the time to dig deep, face your insecurity and just do it. It's a positive thing to hit the gym and feel good about yourself. If you feel like people are judging you (which they probably are not) that's their problem, not yours. Put your shoulders back, lift your head up high, and get on with what you are there to achieve - a healthier, happier and fitter you.

However, if this is really a problem, you could also try some home exercise DVDs to start. There are some really excellent ones out there these days and they are quite easy to fit around a busy schedule.

Good luck!

Great question! Don't worry about being self-conscious about your body after the holidays because everyone feels the same way! The best way to start a new and healthy you is to break down the walls you built up and start doing what's best for you and your body! I believe that a well balanced diet revolves around eating healthy and maintaining a workout regiment that best fits your body type. Good Luck!
