Diet Tips Of The Day

#3 - Keep healthy snacks in the house - sweet potatoes, lowfat Jell-O and frozen fruit are good examples! Find out what Drew Barrymore and Christie Brinkley snack on at www.modeldietplan.com/celebrity.htm.

#4 - Put a picture of you when you were skinny on the fridge.. or the freezer where you keep the icecream!

Celebrity Diet Focus

- Scarlett on Atkins

Scarlett Johannson went from a slim 120lbs to an even slimmer 112lbs recently, by cutting out the carbs and eating more lean proteins and salads. The Lost In Translation star was previously quoted as saying 'I have fat days, and I accept that I'm never going to be rail thin'. See how the Atkins diet changed her mind here - www.modeldietplan.com/atkins.htm.

- Madonna a vegetarian no more?

Did you think that Madonna was a vegetarian? Not any more - the Queen of Pop has started eating meat again. She's part of a growing trend in Hollywood, where former vegetarians such as Reese Witherspoon and Drew Barrymore are finding that introducing more protein to their diets is a great way to stay slim and healthy.

Diets in the News

- Food labels don't stop us eating unhealthy foods

Nothing new there you might say! An AP-Ipsos poll found that 80% of buyers check food labels, but only 44% of us actually use that knowledge to make a decision! Other interesting points from the survey:
-- 15% more women check labels than men
-- Married men are more likely to check (76% vs. 65% for singles)
-- Younger people are most health-conscious, and 39% of them look straight to the calories before anything else

- Healthy eating can save your eyes!

It turns out that healthy eating won't just reduce your risk of cancer, it will also help you keep your 20-20 vision for longer! Recent studies show that the same antioxidants that reduce your risk of cancer will also reduce Age-related Macular Degeneration, the condition that affects your eyesight as you grow older.
So if you want to lose weight, make sure you keep eating those antioxidants or you might not be able to see that new slim body of yours!
Remember, vitamins can help you lose weight as well as keep you healthy - www.modeldietplan.com/vitamins.htm.
