As a committed vegetarian, Kelly gets all the antioxidants she needs from a diet high in fruit and vegetables. She maintains her soft skin and clear complexion by eating a variety of fruits between meals, instead of high calorie snacks. She incorporates other foods like avocado and brown rice into her meals for extra beautiful skin.
Kelly keeps her skin soft and wrinkle-free by staying out of the sun as much as possible.
During long, outdoor photo shoots she's careful to apply SPF30, making sure not to make the common mistake of missing her ears and neck.
Kelly also uses hair products with SPF protection. Most people don't even consider the effects of UV rays on their hair, but they can easily make it dry, brittle and full of split ends.
If you don't have any SPF hair products handy, spraying on a thin layer of quick-drying sun lotion will have the same effect.
Brown Rice with Tomato & Avocado
Ingredients:
1 cup of brown rice
15 cherry tomatoes
1 avocado
few sprigs cilantro
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon (squeezed)
Cook brown rice as directed. Mix all ingredients together, then season to taste and serve on a flat plate. This should serve 2 people, and at 300 calories each its great for a light lunch or dinner.
